You Could be a Volunteer – Find Out How in 2017? See the 'News' page for Dates & Venues of Registration & Training Meetings

Volunteers are welcome from all Communities in the area.

We require volunteers with a willingness to serve in any capacity i.e. catering, setting up, befriending, cleaning up in the morning, and volunteers willing to sleep overnight (normally 4 per overnight shift, 2 awake and 2 on duty at all times).

Training

Registration & Training Meetings for existing and potential Volunteers are held periodically to enable prospective volunteers to assess what is involved before they make a firm commitment. See the 'NEWS' page for full details. Volunteer Registration Forms will be available at these meetings.

A Volunteers' Handbook is issued to each volunteer which sets out the routines which they follow when engaging with the Guests in the Night Shelter.

We sincerely hope you will consider having an involvement with this much needed outreach at whatever role and frequency you can.

If you would like to discuss any matter, please contact the Chair of the Snowflake Trust, Andrew Crighton, via the 'Contact Us' page or info@snowflake-nightshelter.org.uk.

Thank you for taking the time to read these notes.
